An organization working for the women of Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex, Texas, Keep Climbing No Stopping was founded in March 2015 by Shanequa Joiner. She knows how it feels to have nothing and be afraid to ask for help in return, so she started a domestic non-profit organization with women volunteers.
Shanequa established the organization prior to obtaining a 501(c) 3 just because of her eagerness just to help. Our members donate monthly dues, combine all the money, and give it back to the community through outreach programs. Apart from this, we listen and give motivation to others.
There is no limit on the services we provide. As long as there are people to help, we will keep following through with our duty to reach out to them.
It is our goal as women to give back to the community whether it’s a helping hand, ear, or shoulder to lean on. We strive to show the world that we can come together as one and make a difference for those who are in need. As our saying goes, "If you help one person, you have did a lot."
Our Board Members
Shanequa Joiner: CEO and Founder
I am a 38 year old ambitious, compassionate, thoughtful, and devoted woman who graduated from Colorado Tech University with an Associates of Science in Health Administration Services, and a Bachelor of Science in Health Care Management.
In March 2017 I obtained my MBA with a concentration in health care management at the same university, while aspiring to be a director of health care within a hospital setting. I have been in the medical field for over 20 years, and is currently a Sr. Remote Medical Coder.
I am a mother of five beautiful children ranging from ages 7 to 21. My goal with my children is to make sure they are always humble, graduate from high school, and obtain a college degree.
I started KCNS because I wanted to be able to form a bond with women who share the same interests as I did when it comes to giving back to our communities. I know what it’s like to not be able to have, and how hard it is to ask for help. I feel as if we all have a sense of responsibility to help in our communities.
My life is full of happiness and most of that come from helping others. There is a Chinese saying that goes: “If you want happiness for an hour, take a nap. If you want happiness for a day, go fishing. If you want happiness for a year, inherit a fortune. If you want happiness for a lifetime, help somebody.”
Kanequa Singleton: Co-Founder
She is a junior currently attending Prairie View A&M University school of Social Work, Behavioral and Political Sciences. Pursuing a BASW in social work, she hopes to work with CPS/APS, domestic violence victims, as well as the field of crisis intervention.
She aspires to help others better themselves as she believes that self-improvement is the greatest reward in life. Her hobbies are dancing, binge-watching movies, and participating in non-profit organizations such as KCNS which she believes is more than an organization— it’s a family.
My name is Stephanie Joiner. I am a wife, mother, sister, daughter and friend. I hold a life and health insurance license for five years now. My passions are helping, giving, and spending time with my family.
I love to help where I can and consider myself as a problem solver. No, I'm not a genius in math but I am an expert in dealing with everyday problems most people face. I pride myself on my listening skills as that's the key ingredient to problem solving.
My family and close friends sometimes call me a pushover, but I say GOD didn't limit HIS giving with what HE has given to me so why not give my all when I can to helping others? As president of Keep Climbing No Stopping, I vow to take the vision of our organization and make it true reality.
I plan to always dedicate my time, love, and financial assistance as much as I can when I can—helping where I am needed and providing a solid foundation for my children and others. I provide a different outlook on situations and that's what makes me unique.
Being in an organization with women who share the same vision as I do is one of my proudest accomplishments next to having my children. God has a plan for me and I live solely in my faith knowing that HE makes a way so that I can lead the way.
As the Vice President of KCNS Nonprofit Organization, Kiesty works hand in hand with the Founder and the President in developing new and different ideas. These are plans on how to give back to the people who are in need in our Dallas, Texas communities. She is also an important part of the recruitment process that has been made to look so easy being that she has such a warm and inviting nature.
Kiesty was born and raised in Dallas, Texas, where she went on to graduate from Skyline High School. Later, she went on to marry the love of her life and gave birth to two beautiful daughters, who are now 15 and 10 years of age. Kiesty is passionate about family, whether it’s blood relatives or sisterhoods that have been built overtime. She believes it’s about trust, and bonding which leads to lifetime relationships. It may come as no surprise that spending time with her mother, date nights with her husband, giving back to the community with KCNS, or just playing around in the kitchen (baking and cooking) with her daughters are some of the things that she enjoys doing in her spare time.
Kiesty has always been one who is unselfish with volunteering her time. She volunteered at Charles A. Gill elementary school for seven years, doing various tasks throughout the school. Whether she was needed in the front office or to work with the children, Kiesty remained loyal and reliable, which led to a permanent job offer at the school. While having the opportunity to work with several of the children over the years, she found her calling working in the special education classroom, where she is currently employed today.
She is a friend to all, and is always available to help anyone in need. With that being said, she joined KCNS, and with her KCNS sisters, she plans to make sure that the people of DFW know that there are people who care and are willing to help.
Avery Simpson comes to KCNS as our new Secretary. Avery is a servant, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. She is originally from Dallas, Texas but has resided in Sacramento, California and Cleveland, Ohio. Avery has served in the area of Social Services for over 20 years in various capacities. She has worked with individuals dealing with developmental disabilities and mental health issues as well as underprivileged individuals.
Avery is a supervisor at a Fortune 500 company that is ranked as one of America’s Best Employers. She spends her spare time doing what she loves most, serving at her church in whatever capacity needed, spending time with friends and family, reading, cooking, dancing, and giving back to the community through KCNS.
She counts it an honor and a privilege to serve those considered less fortunate. Avery believes that everyone is deserving of love, a smile, and a hug. She has been gifted to spread sunshine wherever she goes!
She believes that “With God, nothing is impossible” - Luke 1:37
Avery is currently pursuing a degree in Psychology with a concentration in Christian Counseling from Liberty University.
I had no idea when I joined this wonderful organization, that God would see fit for me to move into a position on the boards. I am grateful and humbled at this opportunity and my prayer is to use my God given talents to continue to build and grow KCNS

Felecia Jones: Treasurer
A native Texan, a wife, and a mother of two, she serves as the treasurer of our non-profit family. She is known for being enthusiastic, committed, trustworthy and hardworking—qualities that exemplify her desire to contribute to the needs of others.
She brings to KCNS an extensive background in serving and a lifelong desire to participate in a group that caters to the needs of their communities. She served part-time as a Bible talk ministry leader, and it was then that she realized that serving was a gift that she enjoyed tremendously. Being a leader provided her a great sense of fulfillment and joy.
Her quest to give back to a community that once extended a helping hand to her compelled Felicia to join KCNS in early 2016. She wanted desperately to make a positive impact with hopes of touching lives of the less fortunate.
She has volunteered in other community outreach programs such as Hope for Humanity Dallas through her local church. She also participated in other organizations such as Buckner Family Place, Brother Bill’s Helping Hands and national organizations like Hope for Kids and Angel Tree Christmas.
About a year ago, she started her entrepreneur journey as a co-owner and accountant of a small family run business. She looks forward to becoming a future sole proprietor of a business that caters to the medical field while still serving in a great capacity to KCNS.
She completed her academics at Richland College where she studied accounting and chemistry and has worked in the Chemistry field for more than 17 years. She is a die-hard supporter of her husband and his favorite team, the Dallas Cowboys, and looks forward to football season every year.
During her free time, she enjoys volunteering, reading, watching DIY productions, shopping, relaxing and spending quality time with her husband, family, and friends.
Quotes that she lives by:
Each one, reach one and teach one.
People won't care how much you know until they know how much you care.
To whom much is given, much will be required.
